Cottle Strawberry Farm has been in operation for over twenty years. The farm, which is located just outside of Columbia's down town, is now operated by Joy Cottle, who took over the farm when her dad retired. The family has been in the strawberry business since the 1960s and maintains a love for the fruit to this day.

Joy, who grew up loving strawberries, is still an avid berry fan and is working to produce the most tasty strawberries for the farm. And while the strawberry season only lasts from April to June, Joy offers that freezing strawberries offers a tasty year-round treat. The farm is open for picking on April 3rd, 2008, and has a few roadside stands which will open beginning on March 31st.
